'Real' South of France Tours

A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance due 3 months prior to the start of your tour.

Solo travelers are very welcome on our tours, and many of our guests travel on their own. When traveling as a solo guest, accommodation is based on single occupancy, and a single supplement of €400 applies. Please note that we’re not able to match solo travelers into shared rooms.

To secure your booking a deposit of 25% is required. This will be non refundable once the tour is proceeding with the minimum of 4 people booked. ​ The 75% balance for your tour will be payable 3 months prior to your tour start date. ​ If you cancel your Tour after the final payment is made no refund is available (with the exception of border closures due to Covid or other events beyond our control then your tour will be rescheduled to a later date). Travel Insurance is highly recommended for our tour.

No, unfortunately we cannot provide travel insurance as our guests are from all around the world with different requirements. However, we have had recommendations from our previous tour guests to use a credit card with travel insurance linked to it when paying the deposit. This means that you don't need to take out traditional travel insurance through an insurance company if making your booking early (as most people tend to do). You can then purchase travel insurance at the time of paying the balance 3 months prior to traveling.

Our general tours are limited to a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 6 guests to ensure a personalised and intimate experience. Private tours are a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 7 guests.

The tour duration is 7 days and 7 nights. The itinerary covers the very best sights in the Occitanie region of Southern France. The tour is in a small group format, limited to a maximum of 6 guests for your comfort and personal attention.

It might be possible to add additional nights before and/or after your tour. Please check at the time of booking. If you are arriving in Europe within a day or so of the tour we recommend staying overnight at your arrival destination to help acclimatise to the European time zone and then arrange transfers to Olonzac for the start of your tour.

High speed trains (TGV) from Paris (Gare de Lyon Station), Lyon, Barcelona (Sants Station) and other centres are available to and from Narbonne where we can pick you up and drop you off before and after your tour. There are also several airports in our area including Carcassonne, Bèziers, Montpellier, Perpignan and Toulouse. Carcassonne is a standard pick up and drop off point and transfers from the other airports listed are available by prior arrangement. Yes, we can accommodate vegetarians, vegans, and most special dietary requirements. Please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Accommodation for all 7 nights is at one base ... our Chambres d'hôtes/bed and breakfast Sainte-Hélène Chambres d'hôtes in Olonzac. You will sleep on deep sumptuous super king mattresses with the finest 100% cotton linen usually found in exclusive hotels. All of our bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning for your comfort. Our contemporary en-suite bathrooms have luxurious pure cotton bath towels and beautiful organic L'Occitanie bathroom products. Each days starts with a fabulous breakfast featuring local products. We also provide a free laundry service.

We use a comfortable 9-seat van with air conditioning.
