Terms and Conditions

On our standard small group tours there is a minimum of 4, maximum of 6 people per tour to ensure your comfort and personal attention. 

​

Included in the cost of your tour:

• Transfers as detailed below

• Accommodation at an award winning Bed & Breakfast

• Breakfast and lunch daily

• Dinner on five evenings (on the two free evenings we provide a grazing platter with wine, beer and soft drinks)

• All wine, beer and soft drinks with group lunches and dinners

• The wine tour including all tastings during the tour and all wine with lunch

• The cooking class including all wine

• All wine with the ‘tapas and wine tasting evening’

• All entrance fees

• Complimentary phone calls to your home country

• WiFi

• Laundry service

 

Not included in the cost of your tour:

• Air, bus or train fares prior to and following your tour

• 2 nights dinner at your leisure (we provide a grazing platter as mentioned above)

• Morning and afternoon tea (unless stated)

• Wine, beer or spirits other than stated above

• Travel insurance – we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance which covers travel cancellations and disruptions, medical and theft. Tour cancellation fees will apply.

Transfers

Our standard pick up points are from Narbonne train station, Carcassonne train station or Carcassonne airport after midday. Other pick up points or times can be made by special arrangement prior to the tour.

Our standard drop off points are to Narbonne train station, Carcassonne train station or Carcassonne airport before midday. Other drop off points or times can be made by special arrangement prior to the tour.

Luggage

Unfortunately, due to the restricted luggage space in our minivan, each person is limited to two suitcases, one carry on bag and a handbag/camera bag.  Luggage and personal effects are the responsibility of the traveller.

Fitness level

As there are cobblestones and steps to navigate during the tour a reasonable level of mobility is required.  Please contact us if you need clarification as the tour is leisurely and relaxed and we want everyone to be able to enjoy it.

Children

Due to the nature of our tours they are restricted to people over 18 years of age (with the exception of a customised tour).

Changes to schedule

Occasionally it may be necessary to alter the planned itinerary due to weather, traffic, strikes, restoration work and other factors out of our control. Every effort will be made to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum. Where we are unable to reschedule we aim to substitute the activity for a similar event.

Payment schedule & cancellation

To secure your booking a deposit of 25% is required. This will be non refundable once the tour is proceeding with the minimum of 4 people booked.

The 75% balance for your tour will be payable 3 months prior to your tour start date.

If you cancel your Tour after the final payment is made no refund is available (with the exception of border closures due to Covid or other events beyond our control then your tour will be rescheduled to a later date).  As noted above Travel Insurance is highly recommended for our tour.
